How do I schedule an appointment?

You can schedule an appointment by calling us at (978) 245-7163 or emailing info@carepackcounseling.org. We’ll gather some basic information, answer any questions you have, and match you with a therapist who fits your needs.

What should I expect during my first session?

Your first session is a chance for you and your therapist to get to know each other. Your therapist will ask about what’s bringing you to therapy, your history, and your goals. You’ll also have time to ask questions and get a sense of whether it feels like a good fit. There’s no pressure to dive into anything you’re not ready to talk about.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

If you’re struggling with your mental health, relationships, stress, or just feeling stuck, therapy can help. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from working with a therapist. Many people come to therapy for support during transitions, personal growth, or to develop better coping skills.

How do I know which therapist is the right fit?

Finding the right therapist is about more than credentials. It’s about feeling comfortable, understood, and supported. We’ll help match you with a therapist based on your needs, preferences, and goals. If you’re not sure, we’re happy to talk through your options.

Can I switch therapists if it’s not a good match?

Absolutely. The relationship between you and your therapist is one of the most important parts of therapy. If it doesn’t feel like the right fit, let us know and we’ll help you transition to another therapist at our practice.

Do you offer free consultations?

Please contact us to discuss consultation options. We’re happy to answer questions about our services and help you figure out if Care Pack Counseling is the right fit for you.

How does online therapy work?

Online therapy works just like in-person therapy, except you meet with your therapist through a secure video platform from wherever you are. You’ll log in at your scheduled appointment time, and your session will proceed just as it would in an office setting.

Is online therapy as effective as in-person therapy?

Yes. Research consistently shows that online therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy for most mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Many clients find that online therapy is more convenient and helps them feel more comfortable opening up.

What platform do you use for virtual sessions?

We use a secure, HIPAA compliant video platform to ensure your privacy and confidentiality. You’ll receive a link before your session and can join from your computer, tablet, or smartphone.

What do I need for an online therapy session?

You’ll need a device with a camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, and a private space where you feel comfortable talking. We recommend using headphones for added privacy.

Can I switch between online and in-person sessions?

Yes. We offer flexibility to meet your needs. If you’d like to do some sessions online and others in person at our Manchester, NH office, just let your therapist know.

What states do you offer online therapy in?
